Guest on Christopher Smiths Lead Salesdog Podcast

I was honoured to be a guest on the Lead Salesdog Podcast, hosted by Christopher Smith. In this episode we discussed my personal and professional milestones and how I faced a leukaemia diagnosis. I share my mental journey through illness, challenging conventional ideas about battling cancer, and emphasizing the role of luck and circumstance.

“Despite his diagnosis, he approaches life with the mantra: “You are not dead yet,” focusing on survival and finding moments of light and hope.

Carl Ikeme

In the first of a series along my journey I had the pleasure of meeting Carl Ikeme – Leukaemia survivor, Christie Hospital Alumni  and probably more recognisable as Ex Premier League (Wolverhampton Wanderers FC) and Nigerian National team Goalkeeper.

We discuss the shock of our diagnosis, the journey we have been on and the profound impact Leukaemia / Blood cancer has had on us and our family and friends.

We are not dead yet.

Virginia Hayton

In the second of the series I had the pleasure of spending time with Virginia Hayton – Leukaemia survivor, Christies Hospital Alumni and someone who helped me enormously on my own journey.

Virginia is a living example of a force of nature – a mother of two, a wife, a kick ass barrister and fellow user of caviar shampoo.

Her diagnosis story and her journey is amazing to listen to and spoiler alert like all Disney films has a happy ending.

We are not dead yet
